The Voice is an Indian Hindi-language singing realitytalent show, based on the original Dutch version of the program created by John de Mol and is part of a wider international franchise. The series employs a panel of four coaches who critique the artists' performances. Each coach guides their team of selected artists through the remainder of the season. They also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition, thus making them the winning coach.
The show first aired on 6 June 2015 on &TV and has aired for three seasons; it has produced three winners: Pawandeep Rajan, Farhan Sabir and Sumit Saini.
The first season of the series received positive reviews; one critic called the show "delightful", while another said that some of the participants on the show displayed fantastic singing. Due to the show's huge success, the channel announced a junior version which premiered on 23 July 2016.

Mayadhar Raut (6 July 1930 – 22 February 2025) was an Indian classical Odissi dancer, choreographer and Guru.[2]
Early life and background
[edit]Raut was born in the village Kantapenhara an Ahir family in Cuttack district, subsequently he received his dance training under the Guru-shishya tradition of Odissi by Rukmini Devi Arundale at Kalakshetra.
He was married to Mamta Khuntia, who died in 2017,[3] and they had one daughter and two sons; daughter Madhumita Raut is also a noted Odissi dancer.
Career
[edit]Mayadhar Raut played a major role in giving Odissi its classical 'shastra'-based status. He introduced Mudra Vinyoga in 1955. His notable compositions include ‘Pashyati Dishi Dishi’ and ‘Priya Charu Shile’, composed in 1961.[citation needed]
Mayadhar Raut was considered a master of Natyashastra and Abhinaya Darpana, and enriched the Abhinaya vocabulary of Odissi. He taught in Kala Vikas Kendra founded by Babulal Josi in Orissa, and trained dancers Surendranath Jena, Hare Krishna Behera and Ramani Ranjan Jena. Raut taught at Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra from 1970 until 1995.[4]
