Ooo, the Zinka will be a real kick. Her enormous ego, ha ha. (Okay, and her artistry too, I won't forget that. . . . although this woman did not have a pretty voice - Jussi himself preferred Tebaldi as a singing partner.) BTW, McCants had lots of complimentary things to say about Jussi as a colleague in his book about American artists and their recordings. Thought he was the best, the "star" of the recordings, etc. Many items in the book referring to him and his superior voice, the beauty, mellowness.
